| The Sony UP-D897 is the replacement for the popular Up-D895 digital graphic printer. It is fully backward compatible with UP-D895 drivers and software applications.
This new model features higher print speeds and an enhanced panel for image quality control. It has one USB port and has dropped the parallel port available on the UP-D895. However, a USB to Parallel port converter cable is available for applications that require a Centronic Parallel port interface. The Sony UP-D897 thermal printer is the ideal choice for digital ultrasound systems. The monochrome black and white printer incorporate a USB 2.0 for easy integration to digital ultrasound systems. The UP-D897 printer packs a powerful set of features in a small package. The chassis is extremely small and lightweight with a remarkable print speed of approximately 2.0 seconds. |
